The Minstead Training Project provides a range of services to individuals over 18 years of age with learning disabilities.
Some students are residential and some of these are progressing through our one year Residential Independent Living Skills Course. The aim of the course is to enable individuals to gain the skills and understanding over the period of one year to enable them to move on and live happily and successfully in a supported living environment.
Some individuals live independently in local towns, supported by our team of support staff, attending the project in combination with work experience and the other activities of daily living.
Many others join the residents on a daily basis to take advantage of the varied and purposeful daytime activities that we offer.
We also offer a respite service designed to give clients and their carers a rest from caring.
